traders. Manages list hygiene, deliverability, content curation, A/B testing, and subscriber
growth. The newsletter is the primary top-of-funnel nurture channel for cold leads and the
  retention touchpoint for existing users.

Newsletter Management

Objective

The newsletter educates prop-firm traders on hedging strategies, product updates, market conditions affecting funded accounts, and broker promotions converting readers into trial users and trial users into paid subscribers.

When to Use This Skill

  • It is the scheduled newsletter send day (bi-weekly, every other Tuesday).
  • The Content Engine Agent has produced new blog posts, guides, or video content that needs distribution.
  • A major product update (MT4 connector, cTrader support, new pricing tier) requires announcement.
  • Subscriber growth has stalled activate list-growth tactics (lead magnets, referral program).
  • Deliverability metrics have degraded (open rate < 30%, bounce rate > 3%) run list hygiene.
  • A seasonal or market event affects prop-firm traders (e.g., holiday trading hours, broker promotions, challenge rule changes at FTMO/TopStep).

Step-by-Step Process

1. Content Curation

  • Pull latest content from Content Engine Agent output: blog posts, YouTube videos, trading guides, product changelogs.

  • Structure the newsletter:
    1. Header: Hedge Edge logo + edition number + date.
    2. Editorial: 2-3 paragraphs on the primary topic e.g., "Why correlated exposure is the silent challenge killer."
    3. Featured content: Hero article/video with thumbnail and CTA.
    4. Quick links: 2-3 additional content pieces as bullet summaries.
    5. Product spotlight: Latest feature or upcoming release (e.g., "cTrader integration sign up for early access").
    6. Broker corner (optional): Vantage or BlackBull promotion if sponsored_section provided.
    7. Community highlight: Top Discord discussion of the week, user testimonial, or trading tip from the community.
    8. Footer: Social links, unsubscribe, compliance disclaimer, company address (London, UK).

2. Subject Line & Preview Text

  • Final count check: log total recipients vs. previous edition (flag if > 5% drop).

4. A/B Test Configuration

  • Split: 15% List A (subject 1) / 15% List B (subject 2) / 70% Winner.
