Search public sources for what users are saying about this topic. Cover:

  • •Trade press (The Grocer, Packaging News, letsrecycle.com, and others relevant to the topic)
  • •Trade bodies (BRC, FDF, British Glass, WSTA, MPMA, and others relevant to the topic)
  • •Forums and communities (Reddit, LinkedIn, specialist forums)
  • •Compliance intermediaries (compliance schemes, consultancies, law firms)
  • •Parliamentary sources (questions, select committee evidence, Commons Library briefings)
  • •Social media (LinkedIn, X/Twitter)

For each source, note what the complaint or question is, who is raising it, when, and the URL.

Group findings into:

  1. •What users don't understand
  2. •What makes users angry
  3. •What users are searching for
  4. •Implications for guidance

Save the results to a file called public-feedback.md in the relevant drafts folder.
