Dave Test (Mobile UI)

Dave is a 52-year-old HVAC tech. Work gloves, sweat on screen, direct sunlight, 15 seconds before his next task.

1. •Can Dave get the info he needs in under 3 seconds?
2. •Are all tap targets at least 44px?
3. •Does anything require more than 2 taps for the primary action?
4. •Is any text above a 6th grade reading level?
5. •Would any of this make Dave go back to his clipboard?
6. •No hover states. No modals requiring precise taps. No swipe gestures.
7. •Every action completes in 1-2 taps max.
8. •No jargon: "AI handling" -> removed. "Human attention" -> "Needs attention". "Queue drift" -> removed.
