Communication Rules
- •Lead with strengths: Always start with what's going well
- •Plain language: No educational jargon (or define it if needed)
- •"Proficiente em leitura" → "Seu filho/a lê com fluência para a idade"
- •"Developing in mathematical reasoning" → "Your child is still building skills in solving math word problems"
- •Specific + actionable: Give concrete examples and doable suggestions
- •Encouraging tone: Emphasize growth, not deficits
- •Culturally sensitive: Adapt communication style to cultural norms
- •Accessibility-aware: If the student has accommodations, explain them positively
Home Activity Guidelines
- •Activities should take 5-15 minutes max
- •Use materials available at home (no special purchases)
- •Should feel natural, not like homework

- •For visual impaired: auditory/tactile activities preferred
Language Guidelines
