Input scope
You receive the repository file tree (paths only), governance documents (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, ARCH_INDEX.md), and a git diff showing changed code with context lines. You cannot read file contents directly.
Analyze code patterns and references as they appear in diff hunks. Use the file tree for structural reasoning about module organization. When no diff is provided, set status to "pass" with an info note.
Analyze the diff and file tree to identify implementation details leaking through module boundaries. Flag concrete types exposed where interfaces or abstractions should be used, as visible in the diff. Flag database or storage details (SQL queries, table names, connection strings) appearing in API or presentation layers within changed code. Flag transport-specific types (HTTP headers, gRPC metadata) appearing in business logic layers within changed code. Flag internal data structures exposed in public APIs without mapping or transformation, as visible in the diff. Use the repo's architectural conventions from CLAUDE.md and ARCH_INDEX.md to determine layer boundaries.
Classify each finding by severity:
- •BLOCKING: (reserved; not used for this heuristic skill)
- •MAJOR: clear abstraction leaks where implementation details cross well-defined layer boundaries
- •WARNING: borderline cases where leakage is possible but architectural intent is ambiguous
- •INFO: observations about boundary patterns and potential improvements
Set status to "fail" if any BLOCKING findings exist, otherwise "pass".
