Job Fit Scorer Skill
This skill provides objective assessment of how well you match a job posting's requirements.
Purpose
Evaluate job fit by:
- •Calculating match percentage across requirements
- •Identifying strong alignment areas
- •Highlighting skills gaps
- •Recommending whether to apply
- •Suggesting positioning strategy
Scoring Framework
Requirement Categories
Must-Have (40% of total score)
- •Essential skills, experience, or qualifications
- •Usually marked as "required" or "must have"
- •Application likely rejected without these
Important (35% of total score)
- •Strongly preferred, mentioned multiple times
- •Central to role success
- •Weak here makes interview unlikely
Desirable (25% of total score)
- •Bonus items, mentioned once
- •Differentiators between candidates
- •Good to have but not critical
Match Levels
For each requirement, score as:
- •Strong Match (100%) - Direct experience, can provide specific examples
- •Good Match (75%) - Related experience, transferable skills
- •Partial Match (50%) - Some exposure, willing to learn
- •Weak Match (25%) - Minimal connection, significant gap
- •No Match (0%) - No relevant experience

Recommendation Guidelines
80-100% Fit: STRONG APPLY
- •Excellent match, highly competitive
- •Strong likelihood of interview
65-79% Fit: APPLY
- •Good match, competitive candidate
- •Invest in tailored CV
50-64% Fit: CONSIDER
- •Moderate match, long shot but possible
- •Only if genuinely interested
Below 50% Fit: SKIP
- •Significant gaps, unlikely to progress
- •Focus energy on stronger matches
Critical Rules
- •Base all scoring on actual CV/KB content
- •Be honest about gaps
- •Don't encourage applications below 50% unless special circumstance
