Task Instructions
Step 0: Request Output File Path

Step 1: Request Input File
Ask the user for the input file containing the links to be processed.

Step 2: Process Each Category Iteratively
For each category found in the input file:
2.1 Present Category Content
Show the user the complete category text with all links and descriptions.
2.2 Collect User Input
Ask the following questions in order:

2.3 Append Category to Output File
After collecting all inputs, append the formatted category section to the output markdown file.

2.4 Provide Word Count and Review

2.5 Category-Level Critical Review
After user confirmation, perform a critical review of the category section just completed and provide feedback WITHOUT making direct modifications.
Use a subset of references/REVIEW_CRITERIA.md focused on category-specific aspects:
- •Content quality and clarity
- •Grammar and spelling
- •Link validity and formatting
- •Takeaways and action items relevance
- •Section structure
For each criterion not met:
- •Clearly state what is not working
- •Provide a proposed solution (do NOT modify the file directly)
- •Wait for user approval before making any changes
Important: This review focuses on the single category's specific aspects. Overall document coherence will be addressed in the final Step 4.
2.6 Repeat for All Categories
Continue this process for all categories in the input file.
Step 3: Write Introduction
After all categories have been processed:
3.1 Collect Introduction Input
Ask the following questions:

3.4 Introduction-Level Critical Review

Step 4: Final Document-Level Critical Review
Perform a critical review of the complete output file focusing on overall document coherence and cross-cutting aspects not addressed in previous category-level reviews.
Key areas to focus on:
- •Document Flow: Transitions between sections, logical progression, overall narrative arc
- •Tone Consistency: Voice consistency across introduction and all categories
- •Structural Balance: Word distribution, pacing, category-to-category balance
- •Thematic Coherence: How categories relate to each other and to the introduction
- •Reader Experience: Overall readability, engagement from start to finish

Step 5: Consistency Check with Previous Newsletter Editions
Perform a consistency check against the previous 3 newsletter editions to identify potential contradictions.
File Naming Pattern: CY{xx}W{y}-it.md
- •xx = 2-digit year (e.g., 26 for 2026)
- •y = week number (1-2 digits)
Example: If writing CY26W12-it.md, check:
- •CY26W11-it.md (week -1)
- •CY26W10-it.md (week -2)
- •CY26W9-it.md (week -3)
Process:
- •Identify the current newsletter filename from the output path
- •Calculate the previous 3 week numbers
- •Search for these files in the same directory as the output file
- •Read and analyze each available previous edition
- •Compare for potential contradictions on:
- •Technical claims about AI models, tools, or frameworks
- •Company/product statuses (launched, discontinued, changed)
- •Market predictions that may have been proven wrong
- •Factual statements about dates, versions, or capabilities
- •Opinions/positions that significantly contradict previous statements

Important Rules:

Step 6: Reading Time Analysis
After completing the consistency check, perform a word count analysis using the external script and provide a reading time breakdown table.

Step 7: Translation to English
After completing the Italian version and its reading time analysis, translate the newsletter to English.
7.1 Determine English Output Path
File Naming Convention:

7.2 Translate Content

Translation Requirements:
- •Maintain the same tone and style as the Italian version
- •Preserve all markdown formatting exactly
- •Keep all links unchanged (do not translate URLs)
- •Preserve section headers, bullet points, and structure
- •Maintain the author's voice (conversational yet professional)
- •Translate technical terms appropriately (keep standard AI/tech terminology in English where appropriate)
7.3 Create English File
Create the English version file at the determined path with the translated content.
7.4 Confirm Translation
Ask: "Traduzione completata. Il file e' stato salvato in [OUTPUT_PATH]. Vuoi rivedere qualche parte specifica?"
Step 8: English Version Reading Time Analysis
After translation, perform a word count analysis on the English version using the external script and provide a reading time breakdown table.
