Fal Model Search

Search and discover fal.ai model endpoints using the /v1/models API.

Quick Reference

Base URL: https://api.fal.ai/v1/models

Authentication: Optional (higher rate limits with API key)

Modes:

•List - Paginated list of all models (no params)
•Find - Get specific model(s) by endpoint_id
•Search - Filter by query, category, or status

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
`limit`	int	Max items to return (default varies by query type)
`cursor`	string	Pagination cursor from previous response
`endpoint_id`	string/array	Specific endpoint ID(s) to retrieve (1-50)
`q`	string	Free-text search query
`category`	string	Filter by category (text-to-image, image-to-video, etc.)
`status`	string	Filter by status: `active` or `deprecated`
`expand`	string	Expand fields: `openapi-3.0` for full schema
