What This Skill Does
Enables structured strategic thinking that balances ambition with reality, short-term gains with long-term value, and multiple competing priorities.
Procedures
Procedure 1: Strategic Analysis
- •Define the strategic question clearly
- •Identify stakeholders and their interests
- •Map the current state (where are we?)
- •Define the desired state (where do we want to be?)
- •Analyze the gap (what's in the way?)
- •Generate strategic options (at least 3)
- •Evaluate each option against strategic criteria
- •Recommend with explicit trade-offs
Procedure 2: Trade-Off Analysis
- •List all options under consideration
- •Define evaluation criteria (weighted)
- •Score each option on each criterion
- •Calculate weighted scores
- •Identify the top option
- •Document what you're giving up with each choice
- •Recommend with transparency about costs
Procedure 3: Priority Framework
- •List all competing priorities
- •Score each on: Impact (1-10), Urgency (1-10), Effort (1-10)
- •Calculate Priority Score = (Impact x Urgency) / Effort
- •Rank by score
- •Identify dependencies between priorities
- •Create sequenced action plan
Integration Points
- •Vault: Strategic Vault (read past decisions, write new analyses)
- •Agents: Navigator (primary), Prime (council), Architect (feasibility)
- •Transmissions: Broadcast strategic conclusions to all channels
Quality Criteria
- •Are all options genuinely explored (not just the preferred one)?
- •Are trade-offs explicit and honest?
- •Is the recommendation actionable?
- •Does it serve long-term mission?
