X Research Skill

Gather and synthesize information from X (Twitter) for research purposes.

Research Workflows

1. Topic Research

Goal: Understand what people are saying about a topic.

1. Navigate to X search: https://x.com/search?q={encoded_query}&f=live
2. Take screenshot of results
3. Use read_page to extract tweet content
4. Scroll down 3-5 times, extracting content each time
5. Compile findings into structured summary

Search Operators:

  • •"exact phrase" - Match exact phrase
  • •from:username - Tweets from specific user
  • •to:username - Replies to user
  • •filter:links - Only tweets with links
  • •filter:images - Only tweets with images
  • •filter:videos - Only tweets with videos

2. User Research

Goal: Understand a user's posting patterns and interests.

Best Practices

Rate Limiting
